  • The At the end of Q3 2020, the net absorption or new demand for class A industrial space amounted to 16.5 million Sq. ft., in line with the figure recorded for Q3 2019 (15.9 million Sq. ft.).
  • National vacancy rate decreased by 40 basis points compared to the end of Q3 2019, closing at 5.3%. 
  • The 13 main markets had a total surface area of 2.2 million Sq. ft., 25% higher than the figure reported for Q3 2019. The Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey markets have the largest surface area under development, and account for 48% of total construction.
